Taco Ground Beef Cheese Fries 🍟🌮🧀

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen seasoned fries
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Jalapeño slices (optional)
  • Sour cream, salsa, or green onions for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake the fries
    Cook the seasoned fries according to the package directions until crispy.
  2. Cook the beef
    In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Season the meat
    Add the taco seasoning packet and prepare according to packet instructions (usually with a little water). Simmer 3–5 minutes.
  4. Assemble
    Place cooked fries on a serving plate or baking dish. Spoon taco meat evenly over the fries.
  5. Add cheese
    Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Melt the cheese
    Broil for 2–3 minutes or microwave briefly until the cheese is melted.
  7. Top & serve
    Add jalapeños and any favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, or green onions.

  • Black beans
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Avocado or guacamole
  • Crumbled bacon
