80 g (2.8 oz) rolled oats
90 g (3 oz) walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of salt (optional)
Zest of 1 orange
100 g (3.5 oz) sugar-free chocolate
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Prepare the Dates: Soak the dates in cold water for 15 minutes to remove preservatives and activate beneficial substances. After soaking, remove the pits.
Prepare the Oats: Grind the rolled oats in a mixer until you achieve a fine consistency.
Chop the Nuts: Chop the walnuts, setting aside some for decoration.
Mix Ingredients: Grind the dates in a mixer until they form a paste. Combine the date paste with the ground oats, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, salt (if using), and orange zest.
Form Balls: Mix well and form the mixture into small balls.
Refrigerate: Place the balls in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.
Prepare the Chocolate Coating: Melt the sugar-free chocolate with olive oil in a water bath until smooth.
Dip and Decorate: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and decorate with the reserved chopped walnuts.
Refrigerate Again: Place the chocolate-covered balls back in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes.
Serve: Use paper molds to serve your delicious, vegan dessert.
