Ingredients:
- Peels of 1 fresh pineapple (well washed)
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 3 cups of water
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- A slice of lemon (optional)
Preparation Method:
- Wash the pineapple peels thoroughly to remove any dirt or residues.
- Cut the peels into smaller pieces.
- Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
- Add the pineapple peels and cloves (and ginger if using).
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Strain the liquid into a cup or container.
- Add honey or lemon if desired, and stir well.
How to Drink:
- Drink 1 cup, up to 3 times a day.
- Can be consumed warm or chilled.
