💡 Helpful Tips
Slice the beef thinly against the grain for the most tender texture.
For easier slicing, place the beef in the freezer for about 15–20 minutes before cutting.
Don’t overcrowd the skillet when cooking the beef. Cook in batches if necessary so it browns instead of steaming.
Keep the broccoli slightly crisp for better texture and flavor.
For a little heat, add red pepper flakes or a pinch of chili powder to the sauce.
You can substitute white rice with brown rice, cauliflower rice, or noodles.
For extra flavor, sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
If the sauce becomes too thick, add a small splash of beef broth or water to loosen it.
⭐ Pro Tip
For the best restaurant-style flavor, make sure your skillet is very hot before adding the beef. A quick, high-heat stir-fry helps create beautifully browned beef while keeping it tender.
