Air Fryer Salmon Patties
Ingredients (Makes 4 patties)
- 2 cans (14–15 oz total) salmon, drained and flaked
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (regular or panko)
- ½ red bell pepper, finely diced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or a light brush of oil
Instructions
- Prepare the mixture
- In a large bowl, combine salmon, eggs, breadcrumbs, bell pepper, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form patties
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions.
- Shape into patties about ¾-inch thick.
- Preheat air fryer
- Preheat to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Air fry
- Lightly spray the basket and the tops of the patties with cooking spray.
- Place patties in a single layer.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve
- Garnish with extra parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, garlic aioli, or a fresh salad.
Tips
- If the mixture feels too wet, add 1–2 extra tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
- For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard or a dash of hot sauce.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
