Big Mac Wraps Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion, diced (about 1/2 cup)
6 large flour tortillas
Big Mac Sauce (recipe below)
Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Crisp lettuce, shredded
Dill pickles, sliced

Big Mac Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
2. Sauté Onion: Add the diced onion to the skillet with the cooked beef and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
3. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine all the Big Mac sauce ingredients and mix well.
4. Warm Tortillas: Warm the tortillas according to package instructions – either in a dry skillet, microwave, or oven.
5. Assemble the Wraps: Spread a generous amount of Big Mac sauce on each tortilla.
6. Layer Ingredients: Layer the beef and onion mixture, shredded cheese (if using), lettuce, and pickles on the sauce-covered tortilla.
7. Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then tightly roll it up from the bottom.
8. Serve: Slice the wraps in half (optional) and serve immediately.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
Equipment: Large skillet, cutting board, knife, small bowl, microwave/skillet/oven (for warming tortillas)

Tips:

For a crispier wrap, sear the cooked beef and onion in the skillet for a longer time.
Don’t overfill the wraps, or they will be difficult to roll.
You can use different types of lettuce – romaine or iceberg work well.
Toast the tortillas lightly for added texture.

Variations:

Spicy Big Mac: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Big Mac sauce.
Veggie Big Mac: Substitute the ground beef with seasoned black beans or lentils.
Cheese Options: Use Swiss cheese instead of cheddar.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with French fries or a side salad.
Offer a dipping sauce like ketchup or ranch dressing.

Storage:

Wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the microwave or skillet.
